Al Hilal said in its statement issued today, Thursday: “Al Hilal has attached all the documents that support its position in the case, and in accordance with the regulations governing the African Champions League, which contains 4 items that do not include any security clause, while they include health requirements.” The Confederation of African Football sent a letter to The Sudanese Federation to allow Al Hilal fans to attend the match, before retracting and deciding to prevent the mass attendance. Al Hilal continued in his statement: “It was decided to escalate to the Cass Court by appeal and to suspend implementation by the international legal advisor to Al Hilal, and all documents supporting Al Hilal’s position in the case were attached, including the statement. The official Egyptian Football Association, who thanked the Confederation of African Football for agreeing to its request to ban fans from entering the match.
